Game Recap January 21, 2022
The Bombers looks like the team they are against the Wentchee Panthers. Led on the ground by Danny Neth and Bill Johnson, they took over early in the first quarter. Neth, with five minutes gone, broke away and outran Wenatchee defenders for 69 yards and a touchdown. Wenatchee fought back and scored on a pass play. It was Neth again who scored for the Bombers on a play around end. The halftime score stood at 14-7 in favor of the Bombers. Play started in the second half with the Bombers ground game extra strong. Johnson ans Kenny Ryan score in the last half after bruising marches. The Panthers scored once more in the game as the second string went in for the first string. When the gun sounded ending the game the score stood 28-14 in a well deserved win for the Bombers of Richland.
